WholeLife Matrix: Financial Viability / Marketing
“Business has only two functions – marketing and innovation.”

Webinars are considered to be one of the most effective ways of marketing a service or product. They have the advantage of selling something to many people at the same time versus spending a lot of time trying to sell to one person at a time. For example, if you are trying to sell an online course, webinars can be a great way to do it. Here are some tips for creating a great webinar.
1. Create a Script
Choose a specific topic to focus on for your webinar. For example, if you want to sell a course on how to use Instagram, then focus on that and develop a script on that topic for the webinar.
Your introduction should be about 10-15 minutes long and explain how you discovered the things you will teach them and highlight what you will teach during the webinar. This builds enthusiasm and a connection with your audience. The next 30 minutes of your webinar should provide practical information about your topic. In the last 10 minutes, present a direct offer to work with you or to buy your product.
2. Create Engaging Slides
Create visually appealing and interesting slides to support your script. Keep your color scheme consistent. If you are selling a product or service, present case studies and testimonials. Move your slides after about 20 to 40 seconds to keep viewers engaged.
3. Choosing a Webinar Platform
There are many webinar tools to choose from such as GoToWebinar and Webinars OnAir. Do some research to find the best webinar platform for your needs and budget. Email reminders of the webinar one day and one hour before the webinar begins. When you are presenting the webinar, there should be a button that people see that they can click on to buy your product or sign up with your service.
4. Create Engagement
To create an engaging presentation, encourage user participation through polls and questions. These are great to use at the beginning of a webinar to find out how much your audience knows about your topic and to get them focused on the presentation. A Q&A can also be done at the end of the webinar. To share files with participants, Whiteboards can be used within the webinar.
5. Promoting Your Webinar
You can promote your webinar in variety of ways including social media, articles, and newsletters. You can also use advertisements such as Facebook ads. One way to do this is to create an ad that directs people to a signup page where they can sign up for the webinar. On the signup page, include social media buttons that allow people to share the webinar with others.
