WholeLife Matrix: Financial Viability / Marketing
“I think a simple rule of business is, if you do the things that are easier first, then you can actually make a lot of progress.”

Facebook ads can be very effective for selling e-commerce products. Here are some tips for getting the most out of your ads.
1. Trigger Words
Offering irresistible deals can greatly increase your conversions. Use trigger words that entice customer to take action right away. The best converting trigger words are “free”, “cheap”, “new”, “lowest”, and “great”.
2. Limited Edition Items and Stock Levels
To get buyers to take action right away, you can create a sense of urgency by telling them that you only have a limited number of your product in stock. For example, you might have a limited edition bag and let your buyers know that you only have 100 left.
3. Limited Time Promotion
You will get more conversions if you offer a limited time promotion. There are action words you can use to get people to take your offer. Some of the most popular words are “limited time”, “only”, “hurry”, “act now”, and “last chance”.
4. PreQualify Customers
By prequalifying your leads, you reduce the cost of your ads by reducing the number of people who click on your ads just because they are curious. These curious people may not be your ideal customer. They may not want or need your product and may not have the money to buy it. You can reduce the amount of curiosity clicks in a few ways.
– If your product is targeted to a very specific group, such as women entrepreneurs, state that in your ad.
– Show the price of your product in the ad to prevent people from clicking your ad if they can’t afford your product.
– Mention restrictions such as shipping destination or purchase method.
5. Optimize Your Images
Display clear images of your products. Using an image that has both a picture of your product close up and farther away can increase conversions. Alternating between close up pictures and pictures that show people can also be effective. If you use images of people, they should be close up images that show emotion. For example, a close up picture of a smiling woman works well. If you have an image of a person in your ad, have them look towards the text. This will get your audience to look at the text also.
6. Ad Structure
First, your ad should have an attention grabbing headline. Then, your ad should clearly describe what your product is and what it does. You can state this in one sentence. Next, give people an incentive to click. Lastly, include a call to action. The most effective calls to action are “Learn More” and “Shop Now.”
