You probably have a website and social profiles, but you may be wondering how to increase brand awareness for your business. In this article, we offer some tips.

1. Create a Branded Biography
It is important to have a good biography on your social media profiles and on your site. The about page of your site is one of the top pages that people visit. Rather than making general statements about yourself in your biography like “I am a great team leader”, give examples with facts and figures that demonstrate that statement. Your biography should speak to your audience. Include details such as positions you have held, books you have written, TV appearances, etc.

2. Branding Statistics
Providing statistics can show skills and results achieved by your brand. For example, on your website, you can show the number of clients you have served, number and type of projects completed, and the number of team members you have.

3. Trends and Tips
Show that you are knowledgeable about trends in your industry and are at the forefront of them by offering information such as articles and courses. Offering tips and how-to guides can solve problems for you audience and help to build your credibility.

4. Social Media Profiles
You can use your biography to create text for your social media profiles. Use all of the space you have available to fill out profiles and also use profile banners to promote your products and services. For example, if you have a book, you can show a picture of it on your profile graphic.

5. Creating Content
Creating content for your brand is important for showing your expertise and for gaining social proof. Choose content creation options that you enjoy doing and can do on a consistent basis. Some of the best content creating strategies for branding include podcasting, blogging, writing a book, and creating videos.
